Buffalo History Museum

Since 1862, The Buffalo History Museum (also known as the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society) has been Western New York’s leading historical organization, serving to collect, research, interpret, and share the rich history of the Buffalo, NY and the Niagara Frontier.

Our collections include 100,000 artifacts, 200,000 images, 20,000 books, and 2,000 manuscripts, and much more. We are pleased to offer selected pictures of Buffalo-area architecture, streetscapes, waterfront, parks, the 1901 Pan-American Exposition, and much more. These museum-quality reproductions are perfect for gifts and home décor. All proceeds support the collections and mission of The Buffalo History Museum.
